DTE Gas Storage Company owns, operates and develops natural gas storage projects. Our Washington 10 facility is connected to the Vector and MichCon pipelines, providing easy access to Midwest and Northeast markets.

Important Updates

Notice 

Beginning gas day Tues. Nov. 17, Washington 10 will be taking all compression out of service for station maintenance. The outage is expected to last through gas day 23, but could last through the 30th. During this time, nominations for the following services will not be accepted:

  • IT injections into storage
  • IT Wheeling from the W10-MichCon point to the W10-Vector point

IT Wheeling from W10-Vector to W10-MichCon should not be impacted.
Withdrawals from storage will not be impacted. W10 expects that Firm injection capability will not be impacted either. If Firm injections are impacted W10 will communicate with affected shippers directly and via the EBB. Please contact Mark Bering (313.235.6531) or Jeff Holland (313.235.4213) for more information.

Currently Effective Fuel Rates

Effective November 1, 2009 the fuel rate will be 0.40% on withdrawals and 0.00% on injections. 

Historical Fuel Rates are available under "Notices, Non-Critical" from the left navigation panel.
